questions before buying ssbc disc brakes

i'm about to buy the SSBC disc brake kit for my 68 charger where is the cheapest place that sells them summit has them but  does anyone sell them cheaper elsewhere?

I got a good deal on them from an Ebay store years ago for my Cjallenger.  I was real happy with the company, there tech dept was outstanding!

I bought them direct from SSBC using the Group Buy from this 'site. I was happy with the price.
Usually, there are price restrictions to outside vendors from the manufacturer. For example, Summit cannot undersell SSBC's prices when selling their products.
I had to call SSBC tech support a few times, I thought they were very helpful.

which kit did you get? and what all would you need to buy to change from drums to discs?

I got the Force 10 4-wheel manual disc brake kit, with slotted rotors.
I think the only thing I had to buy really was brake fluid.

I used a different prop valve setup, though. So, I spend a little more on lines & fittings. You don't necessarily have to do it that way, & just use the prop valve included in their kit.

I haven't driven the car (no engine or trans yet), so I can't comment on performance. Although, I hear it's very good.

I got the A-156 kit for my 69 through the Group Buy a while ago. It went on no problem and I used the Prop. valve provided. Works awesome. I am glad I did it. At the time I didn't have the money to upgrade to the Force 10 calipers. They would look nicer, but I was already over budget and the base kit is still 100 times better than the drums that were on the car.
