I spent most of today removing the nose on my 68 Charger. I was pleased to find no rust except for very light and very minor surface rust. This car was originally triple green. You can see some of the factory light green and some blue overspray from a previous repaint and finally the dark green that it is painted now. This car will be quadruple black when I`m finished, black vinyl top, black gut, black paint, and a matte black tail stripe. Enjoy!

I think that is the dark green my Charger was originally.  I like that green.  Mine is really different as it was originally dark green outside--I have a white vinyl top, white seats and a green dash, carpet and console.
Do I have the last, operational Popcar Spacemobile?

Thanks! My 440 is built and ready to go, my 18 spline 4 speed is built and ready to go. The dana 60 and new rear springs are already installed. My front suspension and brakes are all new, painted and in boxes. I`m going to be bringing the car to the body shop and blasting and painting the engine compartment soon. After that I`m bringing the car back home so I`ll be able to install the rest of the drive train and get it running. Once running, it`s going back to the body shop for the rest of the paint work. I`ll keep you all posted on my progress.
P.S. your children are growing fast!

It`s a light pea green color under the master cylinder backing plate. According to the fender tag it was originally that light pea green color. The car has manual brakes but according to the fender tag it originally had power brakes. Power brakes will be going back on it.

It looks like there is some peeking out at the tops of the shock towers too. My '69 was that color as well. It was factory F3 light green metallic with black vinyl top.
