Did someone from the site write the article in the March Mopar Collectors Guide about the first Daytona produced at Creative Industries (287970).  Apparently it was just discovered and the writer created a time line of the car and how it was the first produced, used for all photo shoots, and how it was the last one to leave creative.   It started it's life as a 69 Charger R/T S/E and currently still carries it's fender tag saying such, along with the one from Creative for being a Daytona.   Great article and this guy really know's his wing car shat.   Great read.   Bill

I don't buy the Playboy stuff though............... Come on, it's clearly a non-SE in the photo for the ad. I still believe the interior's green. I believe black, even with that day-in-age phototechnology/printing, would have shown to be darker. There's no reason a magazine to be published in Sept. couldn't have at their disposal a perfectly good, albeit without scoops, Daytona. These puppies were being pushed out in April/May/June/etc.....

Nice read though.....

my two cents....
