Great pics. Which 70 Charger sold at the auction? I heard it sold for $26,000 and he pulled the reserve of $28,000 off. There was a 69 Charger 500 with a reserve of $300,000. It did not sold but went up to $220,000.

What motor did the red one have? When I was looking at it, the hood was closed. I was talking to the friend of the owner and he said it was a 318 car and the original color was different.

It is according to the fender tag a FF4 = Light Green Metallic, Gator grain top, 318, 70 Charger, originally.

Thanks. Not a bad price for a 318 car. His friend told me he had some money and alot of time in the body work. Supposedly alot of body work had to be done.

do you know how much the white superbee went for...that is the one hubby and I wanted to know about.  I wasn't feeling well and had to head back to the hotel before the auction started so we missed it.

They said it was 1 of 1 with white paint and red interior. They also said it was fully restored by ? I forgot the companies name. The beers were hitting me at that time.

The car has a 496 stroker in it. Like Terrible One said, he seen the car on the way there. Bummer he only got 26 grand out of it, I know for a fact he has over 60 grand into it, very nicely done as well top to bottom.

Is that Tim Welbourne's HEMI 500? Sure looks like it. Not sure on it being a 1 of 1 in white with red interior though. I do think it is the only known Candian HEMI 500 though.

The white 500 was restored by "Restorations by Julius" in California.  Radio delete car hence no antenna.  I believe it probably was the only White hemi C500 built with a red interior. Tim's car has a black interior.

So Chris, did you make it to Vegas in your 500 or just drive up to the show? If it was the car that was restored by Julius, I would have liked to have looked that one over. I looked back in my list of VIN's and noticed the interior color of Tim's wasn't red. Sorry my mistake.
