How much was the bobweight of a stock 440 rotating assembly?  I have just received my 440/512 kit and the bob weight total is 2268.
I figured the total bobweight of this kit would be at least equal to that of the 440/528 (approx. 2225) or the 440/543 (approx.2230).
Why would my assembly weigh more. I am sure there is an easy answer to it.

The pistons in the 512 kit will be taller due to the shorter stroke (4.25) than in the other kits (528=4.375 stroke/543=4.50 stroke) so that is where the extra weight is coming from.

That's the easy answer  ;)
