Superbird Interior Variations

Hi all, I'm trying to think about what interior colors/patterns I want to use in my Bird clone.  Currently my RR is burnt orange inside and out but I want to go with something different.  The only patterns I seem to find in most of the Bird pics with bench seat column shift like mine is the black with the silver insert or all white. The exterior I thinking about will be be a mix of white, blue and red. Not standard I know but I have a mental picture of some ideas how I want to paint it since after all its just a clone or whatever term fits.   Does anyone else have something different in color or pattern for bench seat Birds they could post or send me a pic of? I'm also open to other's ideas to incorporate  :scratchchin: but for right now I'm going to keep the bench seat for a change since everything else I have is buckets. Thanks, David

well, the reason you don't find many variations is that birds only came four ways.

black/silver accent bench
white bench
charcoal buckets with silver piping
white buckets

there is ONE exception, which is a B5 with P6B5 bucket car...

you could have bench in 4 speed or column auto, buckets with and without console, 4 speed or auto, shift on the column or floor.

moparstewart's clone droptop uses coronet trim, I believe.  the seat frames are the same.

Thanks for the info.  I reckon that explains why I haven't seen anything else.

need to get the bucket seat door trim/quarter trim panels.  I think they'd look better than the bench seat panels.

I agree, they are on my "wish" list
I have a couple of other projects ahead of those though!

The panels shouldn't be a 'priority', just something on the 'to do' list.

Couldn't you get either the M2X9 or H2X9 grade interior, I am sure I've seen the base interior before on a Superbird, but I could be mistaken.

no. just H2 bench and P6 buckets.  I've never seen or heard of a standard runner trim interior in a 'bird.
