She is very talented. She wrote her latest #1 hit which is very impressive, 90% of the country singers don't write any of their own material. She's also a good role model for young girls compared to many other female stars who seem to spend much of their time in rehab.

She wrote "Our Song" when she was 13 about her 8th grade prom. (or because of it)  "Our Song " has also crossed over.
I think she has alot of talent.
I also like "Teardrops on my Guitar"

I agree with Brock on this one she is yet another in a long line of people who are HOT/Popular at one time and then fade into the sunset after a year or so. Heck I'm only 30 and I could probably list 45 or more "STARS" that are no where to be seen anymore.

I gotta believe there are MANY good singers/songwriters/musicians in their 20's or 30's that haven't had the big break she's had.
Personally I don't think she's got that great of a voice....
