Does anyone have one? I'm considering buying a 74 charger and after all the good stuff I've heard about the alterktion from the a body guys i want to know if anyone has one on a b-body. I can buy a 74 Charger with a 400 big block for 1500 bucks and I'd love to have the alterktion on there but they have the last year that it's available for it up to 72 is there that much of a change between the k members?

Sorry won't work for us 73/74 cars.  I already talk to Bill about them.  YOu are pretty much out of luck trying to find something like the Alterkation for that body.  Unless you are really good a fabricating...

Seems like it would theoretically be adaptable with a tape measure & some good fab work.  I think I'd first try to leave the bulk of the AkterKtion setup intact, and see if I could just get away with some minor relocating of the K's mounting points.  The fact that the AlterKtion kit already eliminates the factory torsion bar setup is nice in this case.  It helps ease the whole operation too.

Not exactly a bolt-on weekend job but it could happen.  Even with extra work, it might be as good a plan as anything else to make a 3rd-gen into a G-machine.

For the price of the alterktion kit, could it be justified if you consider what you are getting to what you would have to spend on the old school parts to do a front end rebuild?

It would actually end up being cheaper if you were to buy beefed up components like Firm Feel Suspension has, which is what I plan on doing.

I would love Bill to come out with a Alterkation for our cars.   Rumor has it that he has been working on one, but that about all I've heard.  I would think in the end it would be easier since our cars already had the uca mounts seperate from the body, but I'm no fabricator so not sure what would be needed to created this.
