71ChallengeHer

I just put it in my gas tank.

As far as crankcase additiives the ( ONLY ) thing I would use is stp oil treatment or the comp oil additive, and that is it. That stuff in the crankcase to me just thins out the oil  :Twocents: becuase its very runny.

The method I've always heard is feeding it right into the engine via a vacuum line to the intake. (While running of course)

Yep, right into the engine via a vacuum line. PCV valve or brake booster vacuum. Suck some up, if the car does not stall just shut it off....let it sit for 5 minutes and then be prepared to fill up most of the area with some smoke.

All the Youtube "experts" are putting 1/3 in the gas tank, 1/3 in the crank case, and 1/3 sucked up through the booster hose. :shruggy:

I have used it a few times and just put the whole can in the gas tank.

I used seafoam a lot to get Frankies fuel system cleaned out. If your crankcase is dirty just get a good quality detergent oil and plan to change it several times. I changed the oil every week for a month and it was nasty black every time. Key to cleaning a crankcase is to clean it slow so you dont dislodge a particle and plug up a oil passageway. They say you can add seafoam to the crankcase and drive for an hour or so and change the oil.  I am a believer of Seafoam but wouldnt put it in the crankcase.

You can put a can of it in your gas tank and it will clean things out. You will notice the exhaust smoking a little bit.

If your motor is carboned up you can pour it into the carb and rev it up and down and then pour enough in to kill it. Let it sit 5 minutes and fire it back up. Doing this will clean the valves and pistons really good and it will produce smoke out the tailpipe like you cant imagine.
