Here is an NOS 69 grille.  I believe this color closely resembles that of Totally Auto.  Just my opinion, but thought I would throw it out there and get everyones  :Twocents:

I wonder how much that cost when he bought it in the 80s?

in the local paper when i first bought my 69,(87) there was a guy selling a complete grill set like in the Ebay add. NOS brand new. my buddy and i (he got me into chargers) both laughed whenever we saw the add week after week. we said he was high. he'd never sell it in a million years for the asking price. we even went out to look at it and made him an offer. he stood firm on his price.

$500 :icon_smile_dissapprove:

That's amazing.  I agree it's lighter than I've normally seen on originals and original ads?  Blows my mind that people list important expensive items and can't spend a buck to allow for Larger pictures on the ebay site.   I stand firm on every "Totally auto grille spray job it is with out adopt to bright.  Just looks like Chevy rally wheel silver to me.  I really think there were differnet shades out there in all those almost 100,000 cars produced.  And I hate to be Stubbard but if you look at the buckets without the flash lighting the silver do to reflection you can pick out it has a tad of the dull light grey look over a bright silver look.:Twocents:
