My old 1953 M-37 truck (snowplow) has clutch and throwout bearing issues.  When reading the military manual on the truck it seems to tell me that I need to pull the whole engine in order to change the clutch.  I've never done this before and don't want to do more b/s than absolutly nescessary.  Am I reading the manual correctly?  Thanks, Bob

I doint know much about M37's but this seems extreme. But with the transfer case and PTO it may be a job to get the tranny out from below. Do not know if the bellhousing would clear the firewall and be able to be removed from underneath. Does the M37 have a removable floor board?

Thanks Todd.  I'll just have to wait until it warms up some before crawling under it to figure a way to do it.  Still snow on the ground here.   Bob
