Hi guys,

I'm looking to get a new 69' Charger front windshield in a few weeks. A friend of mine suggested that I purchase a tool that removes window trim (for both the front & back glass) specifically for a 69' Charger. Does anyone know where I may find one (any online stores/links)? Am I able to simply purchase one from, say, Auto-Zone, Advanced Auto, Pep-Boys,? Any price info as well?

Thank you for any replies!

They may have them but if not you can pick them up at any auto body supply shop.  Can't recall the price but they are inexpensive.

I am doing the same thing. I found one at Advance Auto for $13.

Thanks for the pics! I'll probably stop in this weekend to pick one up. BTW - my 69' Charger looks just like your 68' right now. Best wishes w/ your project as well!

when you buy that tool youre gonna want to sharpen the ends a little  they make it to rounded and it makes it difficult for that rounded edge to grab behind the clip

Thanks for the tip!  As for removing the trim; any tips on removing it/best techniques, ect? Or am I making it more difficult than it is, lol.

I found that getting the tool into the rolled outer edge of the bottom of the molding and drawing it back toward the clip made it catch the clip and release it very easily.
