RICHARD DAWSON was a game show giant in the 1970s, first as a panelist on the goofy Match Game and then as host of TV's Family Feud. His career ground to a halt in the mid-1980s, and by the 1990s rumors were circulating that Dawson was dead. Possibly the rumor-mongers were thinking of Dawson's successor as host of Family Feud, Ray Combs, who really did commit suicide in 1996. Contrary to popular rumor, Richard Dawson is alive and well. Upon his retirement, Dawson took up residence in Beverly Hills, California with his wife since 1991, Gretchen (Johnson) Dawson, whom he met when she was a member of one of the contestant families on Family Feud in 1981. They have a daughter, Shannon Nicole Dawson (born in 1990).

I remeber Dawson used to flirt like crazy with those contestants,  he was allways grabbing on the younger prettyer ones and putting his arm around them, like he was checking some fruit for ripeness.. I'm hardly suprised he ended up marrying one...

LeBeau (Robert Clary) and Newkirk (Richard Dawson) are still around.
Helga (Cynthis Lynn) is also still around.

That's about it from the core group of actors.

Schultz (John Banner) died in 73
General Burkhalter (Leon Askin) died a couple of years ago
Klink (Werner Klemperer) died awhile ago.
Carter (Larry Hovis) gone..
And of course Hogan (Bob Crane) died a long time ago.
Hochstetter (Howard Caine)died in the 90s
Hilda (Sigrid Valdis) died just last year

It was one of my favourite shows growing up, and I have all of the available seasons on DVD now.

Oh, and my last name is Hogan.  :yesnod:

Really? Being in the shape he was in even back then I didn't figure he would have lived past about 1985.

Looking back , that show was pushing the envelope in that day . WWII was only over 20 years or so , just my two cents !!

Yep. He died in 2005. He has an acting credit as late as 2001 according to http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0039169/

You can see the whole cast of the show here as well.. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058812/
