Holy crap, it's already been 10 years!! :o

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Who was he ???

:shruggy: Never heard of him.

You might remember him as the voice of Troy McClure from the Simpsons, or from his tenure on Saturday Night Live or from one of his more memorable roles, Virgil Robinson in the hit film CB4.

Don't forget his role as Bill McNeal on 'News Radio'. He was one of the funniest folks on SNL back in the day as well. Hard to believe it's been 10 years already.

Never watched the Simpson's or Saterday Night Live.  It's trash TV to me. :Twocents:

He was definitely one of the greats. :rotz:
His role as the alcatraz guard, John "Vicky" Johnson,  in "so I married an ax murderer"  was classic Hartman.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Ditto!

I've only seen a few episodes of the Simpson's here and there, cause my kids like the show, but the show doesn't do anything for me. And I stopped watching Saturday Night Live after the original members in the '70s all left. I never seen one since. I watch Mad TV occasionally though. But that's rare as I usually go to bed around 10:30pm. And if I watch prime-time cartoons, the only one I'll watch, is King Of The Hill. And, even then I have to be extremely bord.

you guys all live under rocks

Well, the building I live in is made out of brick :shruggy:

I really don't watch much tv. I have only 10 shows that I watch that I consiter "can't miss" tv right now. Everything I could care less about.

AxeMen
Deadliest Catch
Dirty Jobs
Ice Road Truckers
Battlestar Galactica
The news & weather
NASCAR races & Related shows
Pinks/Pinks All Out
Pass Time
Seinfeld (re-runs)

That litterally is the only tv I watch. If nothing I like is on, I turn the tv off, and listen to the radio or play cds, & play video games.

Troy McClure: You know, I was one of the first to speak out against horseplay.

Selma: But ... don't you love me?
Troy McClure: Sure I do! Like I love Fresca. Isn't that enough? The only difference between our marriage and any one else's is: we know ours is a sham.

Parker: Troy! Mac Parker. Ever hear of Planet of the Apes?
Troy McClure: Uh ... the movie or the planet?
Parker: The brand-new multimillion dollar musical. And you are starring ... as the human.
Troy McClure: It's the part I was born to play, baby!

Troy McClure: Hi. I'm Troy McClure, you might remember me from such celebrity funerals as "Andre The Giant, We Hardly Knew Ye" and "Shemp Howard, Today We Mourn A Stooge."

He did a ton of stuff.  You guys ever see the news radio TV show in the 90's just before he was killed?

he was funny as crap.

His Sinatra impersonation was the best. What a shame he's no longer with us.  :rotz:
