Heres the set-up..stock 440('67) except for MSD drop-in dist (no box). Been using Champions and am ready to try something else. I drive this car VERY little, and am having a lot of problems with fouling. Any body got any ideas? Thanks :shruggy:

I like the NGK XR5 plugs on iron head big blocks....these stay clean and are the correct heat range for pump gas compression levels.  ;)

Depending upon "Windage and Elevation", and of course, how strong your arm is, those Champions really go a LONG WAYS !

I have never ever had good luck with champions spark plugs.  They fould in anything from my lawn mowers to my cars.  Had friend back in the 70's with  a 429/7? Shelby that lost a tip to those plugs and blew up the motor.  Went to court and lost.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

CP and I must be the only ones who've always had good luck with Champions huh?

I've always used Champion plugs.  No problems from them with me too.
Once had an NGK Platinum burn out the electrode on me...

I've not really had trouble with them loading or fouling as long as the tune is right. The reason I WILL NOT use them is that over the years I have had many Champion plugs stuck in heads. I never had any other plug stuck.

I will not use Champion plugs for anything. Not for checking spark. Not for painting heads...
