Wasn't that the car that was discussed recently? The one that was in very rough shape? I thought someone pointed out that it was cleaned & doctored up to make it presentable. I know I saw photos that were taken before the auction pics, but I don't know if it's the same car.

So exactly what would it take to buy that car? Too bad he isn't interested in a trade. I'd trade my 500 for it even up.

The previous owner sold it for $60K. Add in the cost of a quickie sandblast job and a case of krylon flat black spray bombs and go from there... ;)

So he did wind up getting $60K out of the car last year? I looked at it 3 years ago when he was wanting $45K, and thought it was a bit high.
