I'm thinking about selling the truck. With gas prices going through the roof and me being jobless at the moment I cant really afford to drive it any more. I figure it might be time to send it to a new home. I have had new dual exhaust put on back in the fall. I have also had the seat re-covered as well as put in a Pioneer CD player. It has a new water pump, carb, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The previous owner had changed the 4 wheel drive to lock out hubs, which work like they are supposed to. The only problem with the truck is it needs a new A/C coil.
Any ideas on what it might be worth?

Same here, $1,500. The problem with selling cars these days is that unless they get 20+ mpg they're hard to sell. There was just an article on Yahoo I think about how people are getting good deals on 4x4 vehicles due to their poor fuel economy.

I was thinking somewhere in the 2-2.5k range, but then again I guess the value of these things will keep dropping because people are just not really buying them at the moment. I was kinda afraid maybe it would be hard to sell because its not a 4 cyl econo box. It really doesn't get very good mileage either 10-12 max. Ill keep it and let it set before I give it away.

I don't think 2 grand seems unreasonable.  It looks like it is pretty rust free still.

econo boxes have their place for sure. but if you have to move something, or haul your muscle car, then what? it is in great shape.

I sold my 89 W250 last year for $1200.   Thats where i got $1500 from.  your truck is more rust free than mine was.

True. I havent really decided for sure yet if I will try and sell it or not. One thing is for sure I shant be getting one of those econo boxes if I do decide to sell. Maybe a 6 cyl Dakota :scratchchin: What kind of mileage you get out of one of those?

There is no rust that I can see except for the rear bumper and for the most part it is very clean to be as old as it is. They are getting harder to find in decent shape (around here anyways). Thats sort of where I got my 2-2.5k prices. I dont think 1500 is a bad price especially with the way things are going these days.

Not wonderfull but better than a 150. The best I've ever gotten with my 94 2WD V6 Dakota was 19 on the freeway and about 16 in the city. I do a lot of combo driving for an average of 17-18. Probably subtract 1-2 mpg for 4X4.
