Thats the WORST thing for an old car, I learned from experience! Tarps speed up the rusting/rotting process.

The car has been covered with tarps for at least 10 years and in the same position. The tarps were at least intact until a recent wind storm. That's why I snapped a picture. Before all you could see was a hint of Lime paint, the side of the rear bumper, and slotted mags.
