Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

At this point WORKING is all that matters..

Dealerships are a dog eat dog world.  Every time I visit my Mom at hers there's new faces in the management, etc.  It seems the only guys who have any seniority are the parts jockeys, parts managers & service techs.

Like you said though, at least it's not imports.  When it comes time to put food on the table it doesn't really matter.  Good luck with your new gig.

very true
doesn't really matter where your job is, as long as it puts food on the table or affords you to HAVE a charger, that is most important, in that order too hopefully!

I like some of the fireturds. My wife loves our 97 with the T-tops. I've had real good luck with GM products, except for the 02 Trailerblazer I dumped two years ago.

So I guess your not moving south. Glad to see you found another job.

I think anything of that vintage is going to be a PITA to work on. All you see when you open the hood is hoses, wires and plastic boxes.

i panicked a little bit and was going to sell the charger for some quick cash, thank god i thought better of it-my old boss called me in last saturday and said he is selling the store and closing it.so go find a job-but the signs have been there for a few months, all in all he is a giant asshole who screwed a lot of employees, good ones besides, and lied to all of us right to the end,but never fear, ill sell pontiacs and gmcs, and still be on here when i can be!

ramit

Hey aside from my 03 Dodge Ram my other two daily drivers are Pontiacs.  I think Pontiac is good at making family cars that also look a little sporty.
