I was able to quit after smoking for about 15 years. Wasn't easy but you can do it. Walk the dog late, helps me get to sleep faster.

Keep trying.

Remind yourself that tobacco is one of the two or three most addictive substances known to man.  It might not hit your system as hard as some of the more "serious" drugs but it's just as hard to quit it.  Give yourself some credit.  You're trying to do something that's difficult as all hell.

In colonial prison colonies, there were prisoners who actually would get flogged with spiked whips all the time as punishment for sneaking hits of prohibited tobacco.  Lots of these guys got caught & flogged over, and over, and over . . . their tobacco addiction was that tenacious.

If you fall off the wagon, don't give up.  Don't start dwelling on how frustrating & hopeless it is, or how long/much you've already smoked again.  Just pick yourself up, face forwards again, and get right back on the wagon as soon as you can.  Move on.

Thanks for the support. It's getting better, I've made sure to not replace one vice with another. I've been sticking with pretzels for the snacks and have not had a beer since I started... I want to make sure I don't start to hammer those away to replace the beer (Happened the last time I tried quiting).

So far so good, Still not sleeping too well, but I've been gaming on my computer so it helps, Also have gotten a lot done on the Charger and the Dart  :2thumbs:

I don't smoke, but happened to notice a carton of cigarettes cost $55.00 at the grocery store. WOW! Just think of all the cigarette money you can put into your car now. It's a win-win. :Twocents:

Some of us were not that smart in the beginning. So now all we can do is live and learn and quit.

I'm just being a smart-ass about this not-so-useful observation/advice. It' not easy. Good luck, dudes.
