i'm in the middle of  sandblasting the inside of my 68 charger. i scraped off the old caulk seam sealer stuff that seals where the panels meet like behind the front seats where the 2 pieces of floor meet and around the bottom of the wheel wells meets the trunk floor. my question is what kind of sealer would i use when i'm done sandblasting and ready to seal it back up?

body seam sealer you can get it at autozone like $4 that is what Im using

AutoRust

Get a good quality seam sealer, the stuff from AutoZone is garbage. It dries up and cracks, and is not paintable.
Go to a body shop supply company, spend a few bucks and get the good stuff.

3m Fast & Firm is what I used. There is different kinds for different applications. Your paint store should have it. Here is a link of where i did my trunk.

You can paint over the stuff i used. I am not sure how long you have to wait though. I will have to read the package if I still have some. I am sure most any can be painted though.

Not really, a lot of the cheap ones you can not paint over. The paint will not stick to it. We have been doing this stuff for 30 years, we have tried them all.
3M products are good, you can paint over them.
