That's a cool boat.   What year is it?  (I'm thinking 1970?)

I had a '73 New Yorker that I loved, it was like a living room on wheels.   :D

I love the C - Body . Better than a Caddy or Lincoln . They just float down the pike at 80 or 90 . My buddy has a 71 300 with console and sunroof.

Here is the one I owned wile I lived in Idaho. It is a 72 Crown Imperial 2dr. It had a 440 HP in it with a auto. It had black leather int that was plush. Power everything. Very fun car. But I liked my 69 300 much better. I would kill for another 69 2dr 300.  Very fun car.   This car is still around and belongs to a bunch of derby guys here in UT.

Congratulations, OC !  Imperials are GREAT cars! Yours is unusual in that it is a Sedan, Most were pillarless hardtops.  Great score.  If you haven't already, be sure to check out    http://imperialclub.com/

You'll find everything you need to know about Imperials there.

There are a few of us Imperial owners here on DC.com, Here's a pic of my '72:

Beautiful ride. You should check out the Jeff Godshall article written in Collectible Automobile Magazine last year regarding the history of the last C-body Fuselage Shaped Imperials.  It was a great article. I distinctly remember the styling issues they had to fight with manufacturing on - just to get some of the stampings approved.  Especially the front fenders due to their size and complexity.  It was very interesting article.  Chrysler went to great lengths to beat Cadillac, losing money every step of the way.

Nice score O_C, looks to be in great shape. I followed the threads you had going over at that other board when you were considering the purchase... kinda comical the twists and turns one in particular took! I wish I could find one as nice around me- I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
