I have a 68' 383 with the correct 4401 carb.  I took the carb apart because I found that if it was left for a while (couple of weeks) it would tend to dump fuel into the motor causing it to run terrible and flood.  Anyway I took the carb apart and found that it was quite dirty and now have a kit for it.  Can you offer any pointers for installing the kit into this carb?  Thanks

Mostly just make sure everything is absolutely clean and then follow the instructions that should have come with the kit.  They are a fairly straightforward carb to work on.
