I like them. They're not correct but they look good. I wonder if that brushed look on the top was not possible to replicate? Does BE&A carry the same thing?

That cap does not look like it has the proper brushed surface on that middle top area.
It looks more chrome with little if any brushed area on it...........

Hi there, I thought I might chime in here, I got one of those caps from Mike and they fit great but the brushed top is to bright.
What I did was mask up all the chrome that is supposed to be bright then put the cap in a lathe and used 360 grit paper and sanded  the brushed look on it. Turned out great, also the knurl around the outside is not as deep as the original but overall they are great I,m just real happy that they are available.
So maybe you can mask  it and take it your local machine shop so they can sand it, it only takes a couple of minutes.
The spill trays are perfect also,  they are quality products.

BEAPARTS

I usually don't get involved when it comes to a comparison between suppliers but here goes.  Without going into the minor nuances of absolute correctness this local customer walks into the shop carring all these parts for a 68 Charger he's doing that he has owned and been parked for over 25 years.  The parts included side marker assemblies, hood indicators, rear corner "C" trim, vinyl top check molding and, you guessed it, the gas cap and ring.  Since he had been out of the hobby so long he didn't know we existed until 2 weeks ago and was right in his back yard.  Needless to say, he was a little upset when we pulled out all our parts for comparison.  I'm not beating up the parts he had, they looked real nice until they were side by side to the ones we produce.

Not only did he send back everything he had to YearOne and Paddock, he also left the shop with the tail light assemblies.  We have also repired and polished his rear stainless and vinyl top stainless and we are also repairing and restoring his grille. Pete is a really good guy and I'm sure he would be more that happy to talk to anyone about his experience here at our shop.  If you would like to get his opinion send me a PM and I'll give you his cell number.
