Which would look better a black or blue headliner, the car did have a B7 headliner in it before I took it out. The car is a 71 Charger with bucket seats which were black on black but I am changing the inserts to blue, so it won't be so dark in there. Now should I go back with a blue headliner or a black headliner? The carpet is stayin black; the only items that are going blue are the front, rear inserts of the seats and the side panels.

Think of it as a black dinner jacket...it goes with everything.  :2thumbs:

Blue. I would use all soft parts ( inserts in this case ) in blue and hard parts ( including dash pad ) in black.

I want to mean, I would use plastic parts in black, and then soft vinyl parts in blue. Those combos were not rare down here in Venezuela. I have a buddy with read and black interior, where black parts were, Complete dash, all lower panels, pillar, kicks, Sail Panel, headlined trim, console and bucket backs, for a while seat covers, upper panels, headliner, sunvisors and carpet are red.

Then after that, we parted out a 73 made on the same way. Also found recently a 72 on same way with same color combo. Recently found a 72 with green/black combo...

Since you talk about only inserts on seats are blue and not the complete cover, that would it be interesting to combine with another parts in blue, instead black

The only reason why I was going to go with a blue headliner because the one I pulled outta there was blue and the sun visors, seat belts, dash, and trim are black and I wanted to put the light back into the car  :D instead of having it an all black interior. :eek2:
