A little off topic but this is what my grandfather flew in during WW II, A Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon.
I'm building a scale model of it as soon as I get some room to work on it.

mustangs are cool. The merlin v-12 is one of the best looking motors i have ever seen, besides the 426 hemi.

 Mustangs are cool, I have an R/C Mustang with "Butthead" in the cockpit, but my uncle flew Corsairs, so I'm a Corsair fan. We even have R/C Corsairs. Speaking of the Black Sheep, I've got a signed Pappy Boyington pic in his #86 Corsair. The real Black sheep said there were more mosquitos & Malaria than partys with nurses and Scotch. Bummer.

He mentioned that in his book. And actually, there were no nurses even on the island. That was a tv thing to add the nurses.
