heater blower motor problem

hi. i have a 2002 dodge caravan. it was working fine the other day but now when i turn the fan on either the lowest or middle blower speed it does nothing but does work on high speed. since the blower is working i would say it is in the controller itself. any ideas? thanks guys!!

Sounds like its the resistor. They tend to go bad (heat or corrosion is what does it) and only control the fan at the lower speeds, at high speed its direct 12v. Not sure where its located on your car, usually somewhere on the heater box. Sometimes their mounted externally on the firewall. Never looked on a 02 caravan, so i cant say where.
