All i can say is WOW! i have one 69 Charger that I'm in the process of restoring and that's a struggle to do money and time wise. Where do you guys get the time to work on these projects with work and family time taking up most of your life. :shruggy:

My kids and wife are into the Mopar hobby as well. I gave up dirt bike racing for a a little while, Mopar shows and parts hunting are fun for the whole family. :2thumbs:
It is a great hobby that the whole family can get into.

My 73 satellite I bought in 1988 for $600. My 65 Dart I bought in 2004 for $600 with 70,000 orig miles. My 68 Charger I bought in 2001 for $700 with a 69 HP 440 and four speed. And the two power wagons that will be made into one. The Charger will be getting in my garage within a week for the start of it's resto. Details to follow on that.

I like that Satellite. That is making me not want to clone mine and just put the RR hood on. :2thumbs:

Keeping them for 30 years gives you plenty of time to put things off till next week, next month or next year.  Plus our cars aren't our daily drivers so time is on our side.  I'd say most of us have "issues" with letting old cars go, I have trouble parting with cars that are paid off, and not costing me much as they sit quietly biding their time.

Leeboy.  You do know that the power wagon in the pic is a palomino power wagon?  They are really quite rare. Plus when they are ddone back up with that striping they are quite nice looking.
I'm smarter than I act, But I don't act smarter than I am.

I've heard they are rare. Do you happen to know any production numbers? This is a slant six with a three speed column shift, two wheel drive with no other options. It looks like it's pretty much a color and stripe package. I got it for $300 on ebay. It came out of NJ and has a good box and cab. The front suspension is shot and the steering and shifting linkage was held together with hose clamps. It will be sacrificed for the better good of the 1977 3/4 ton Power Wagon and a big block upgrade.

Death1970Proof

I have a duster or two and a 'someday" 1971 demon as well...I love the a bodies. Im working hard on the '70 charger  right now but it's probably the only b body I'll be able to afford. the ebodies are WAY overpriced...
"Remember when I said this car was death proof? Well that wasnt' a lie-this car is 100%death proof- only to get the benefit of it honey you really need to be sitting in my seat"...

paironines

I have three but I've been fantasizing for a while about having "only" two.  I wonder if cutting back will let me enjoy the ones I have more?  It seems like I'm spread too thin sometimes.
