Sorry guys but I thought the 06 Charger was bad until I saw the new Ford Na$car race car.  The Fusion is literally the lamest most boring car I have ever seen ( since the Ford 500 and new Chevy Imp's ).  These idiot car designers are retards.  Whatever happened to imagination?  Feed the masses bland rice, they will eat.  The 06 Charger looks better everyday, except when parked next to a new mustang.  Check out jayski.com for a pic of the Fusion ( if pic doesn't attach ).

TruckDriver

Yup, I agree totally. Although I kinda like the Ford 500 and thought they might use that but whatever ::)

:puke: , these cars they keep coming up with are worse and worse. I would gladly own an '06 Charger/'06 Magnum over that ANYDAY !

Wait..... they are using THAT car for racing?  Dear GOD!  What happened to racing cars that were actually fast in real life?
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

Dale The Bold

Put a dent at the base of the C-pillar and you've got another '06 "Charger."  Same goes for most family sedans, though.  I'm surprised they aren't all suing each other for manufacturing the same car.

Yup, it's ugly. And if Chrysler had produced it they would have attached a classic name to it such as Charger, Challanger, Roadrunner, etc. At least Ford is smart enough to give it its own name. The production car is just a quasi-copy of the new Caddies.

Charger_Croatia

Ugly is not good enough to describe that, it is more than ugly.
What happened to car designers!?  :image_294343:

I've only heard good things about this car in the press.  I don't think any of it was road testing, so who knows how it will perform.  I don't believe it was intended to be a sports sedan but I'm probably wrong.

Am I the only one who reads about these cars where they say things like "bold new design" and "a fresh attitude" and all I'm seeing is cars that look so much alike that they only distinguishable features are the grille, taillights, and name badges?  They can't really be serious, can they?

Charge It!

They aired a segement during last Sundays Nascar car race, where Dale Jarret and a couple other Ford drivers took the factory car for a spin. They all were so "excited" about it. Do you think the Ford Marketing guys had anything to do with it?

andy74

i would be excited if some one paid me a million or so to brag on there stuff!

Is it even rwd?
It doesn't matter...the Taurus's weren't, so why should this be different? Besides, they're basing these race cars from 4-door production cars & the racing bodies clearly have a 2-door look to them.

Soooo...bacically with each passing year, they're getting further & further away from the (stock) part of NAStockCAR. They're just throwing a fiberglass go-cart body over a tube frame & an engine.

Oh & yes, that's one uglee Ferd! :-X

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

FastbackJon

They are both lame cars. It is like comparing one rotten worm infested apple to another rotten worm infested apple.

It's a bigger focus, and as for styling PU. Have you also noticed that dash boards are getting smaller and smaller, less instrumentation and more idiot lights and such. I will never buy a car or truck (new Dakota) without an oil pressure gauge. And  I wish they would stop putting the E brake on the trans tunnel too!
Happiness is having a hole in your roof!

Ghoste

How many current buyers can read instruments anyway?  Is that slopenosed Furd going to get little spoilers to prevent it from using an unfair advantage?

Charger_Croatia

BTW that Ferd looks simmilar to 2002 Opel Vectra (European model)
