68 CHARGER R/T

to me tint on the charger hides the interior beauty .  like greenpigs avatar that chick with the tinted bra would look better with a clear one  :D

I just asked my wife what she thought of these cars pictured above and she said she didn't necessarily like the look (she said it seems out of place on an older car) but that she liked the idea of having a little privacy from all the Charger gawkers.

i like it as long as they aren't tooo dark.. i like them lightley smoked.. like pete's. also just think... just as people can't see in.... YOU can't see out.. especially at night...it's a pain!!! IMO
and in jersey... (not to sound tooo much like a cop lol) any tinting on car windows are illegal... doesn't matter about any certain % or not!!! but i like them smoked.

well i did the white car myself.. just to do one that way. to be different. all my other's are "green" tinted.. but as for my wife's 70, silly as this may seem, she wanted limo tint so when she pulls up to a red light and people are tongue hanging out the window at it, she can roll down the window and REALLY freak them out, because up until that moment they had NO clue it was a chic driving. it is a funny sight

I prefer the original look as in stock or period correct modifications, and limo tint and 17 + inch rims just don't look good to me. A fair amount of members cars are updated with the larger rims\bigger brakes etc, I just like the "old school" look. :icon_smile_wink:
ok here is the deal................... as far as mods go i think it really depends on "your" look and how the car is supposed to look. Window tint has its place but not on all cars some cars it might look out of place. some cars its that added touch that enhances it a bit. Wheels are the same although a set of wheels always makes the car look better Myself i really dont like the "factory " look i do then it gets really boring seeing the same old muscle car with the same old look and the same old wheels and so on . Dated period cars are nice but they have there place, Mods have there place too. there is a fine line of nice then tacky. its real hard to pull off a vintage piece that looks too modern. keeping old school theme and new school mods. Window tint has it place but you have to have some mods to go along with the tint to make it look good, 17+ wheels to me look good and the performance is even better, Bigger wheels have a place too...Going too big is out of place 20+ i i think is too much for but it can be pulled off, but its hard to find that threshold.  :Twocents:

:iagree: If it feels good, do it. :2thumbs:

BTW, Trav's white car looks cool tinted! :coolgleamA:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're

A light tint thank you very much. Hey Autodynamics! Is your Budnik wheel a 13" or 15" variety?

I am totally agree with Autodynamics. I like the tint, if it goes along with the rest of the mods done to the car. Color combo, stance, wheels etc all play as a factor to how it will look with tinted glass.  :2thumbs:
Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

I like tinted windows. Does anybody have a picture of a silver '69 with tinted windows? I want to see how it looks before I do it on mine.

Joshua

I'm not ashamed to be seen in any of my cars.....so no tint for me.....unless it's the factory tint.
Plus, it just looks too......ummmm.....buttrocker..... leave the tint to the guys in IROC Camaros......:METAL:

sounds like a cool easy one for DFS over on the photshop thread...
BTW: having the front windows tinted here in calif is not kosher so only doing the back half looks stupid in my opinion..

Old Moparz

I saw one with the silver, mirrored, tint that didn't look too bad. It may have been a 1970, but I can't find the pic.
