Do restored Hemi Chargers even go for $150k? That price seems pretty high to me.

I had tons of people wanna argue with me about the sunroofs in my cars being factory items. Then again take into consideration that there wasn't that many of them made in 69 or 70, its not something that many people have seen on a car. I can probably count the number of real sunroof Chargers I've seen in my life (69 and 70's that is) on my fingers and toes. I know of around 30 69's, but only went to look at 15 of them personally.
Personally though I'd go for the HEMI car. I know, I know its just an engine, but its the HEMI. That however if just my opinion though. Personally though I'd rather have a 440 4 speed Daytona than a HEMI charger R/T if that puts it into any more of a perspective for you. I would love to own a HEMI R/T though, but not if there was a Daytona that I could have instead. In that case the HEMI would hit the curb to allow the Daytona into the garage.

You're most likely gonna have to come up with more cash even if you sold both cars.  I say use that money to put a Hemi in the NOM green car you have.  Then you'll still have the sunroof car plus a Hemi car, even if it's a tribute car. 

You won't feel as intimidated driving the tribute car...unless some Joe confronts you saying his friend used to own the car and still has the title.  That's another story. 

If you're like me you can't have just one car so with the above scenario you'll have two drivers.

How about a nice HEMI clone with plenty of options?  Rear defrost, power windows and brakes, AM 8-Track, console and heck, its even got cruise control!

I would sure want to see pics. of that car completely stripped. Who would strip the body to bear metal and NOT replace the trunk floor before paint??

Mark forgot to mention that his sunroof RT/SE car also has the rare V21 Hood Performance Treatment option as well....although not painted on at the moment.

I also think you should keep the 440 cars.....Hemi's are overrated IMHO...I say that because I don't own one

But if you do decide to part with the car with the hole in the roof, I believe I have first dibs as per our discussion when you first got it!

Maybe I should rephrase that.  WHO, KNOWING that they NEED to replace the trunk floor, would strip the entire body and paint it WITHOUT replacing the trunk floor FIRST??

Hijack.  Interesting...the ebay rig's driver side valve cover has be up against the power booster.  First time I've seen someone not use the offset booster bracket.

I forgot who he was.  That's Marks car?  I wrote him after I first saw it on the site and told him that was the most beautiful Charger I have ever seen, and I mean it.  I LOVE THAT CAR.  You know what.  To lose that car over another, or to lose two cars for one, maybe.  Hemi car, wow jee wiz, but a real nice restored 4 spd Hemi, or as Dan said better yet Daytona 440 4spd.  But a auto, needs work, 4:11 Hemi? Not for me.  That sunroof Charger is     Oh sorry if I was to hard on sunroof cars on my first post, I just got a little Hemi excited, until I got the details.

If you really want the Hemi car, get it.....But if you like a car just because of some rare options, well, I guess keep the sunroof car....even though, sunroofs in Chargers, factory or not, is just wrong.....getting HUNG UP on rare/unusual options never made sense to me.....it's the "My car is rarer than your car" mentality that is so rampant in the Mopar community (although most folks here don't seem that way )
Personally....if I had a chance at a Hemi car....I'd go for it, and then make changes to it to suit what I wanted.....

Coming from a HEMI car owner - keep the 2 Chargers ya got... I'm already looking for something else to stuff the motor/tranny from my donor car into so I can have something to actually DRIVE! 

BUT, '69 HEMI Chargers aren't for sale everyday... it's one of those cars that people buy and KEEP because it is their dream car... without knowing th exact condition of the car is scary though, because I know what it takes to restore one

Long term: The Hemi will be worth way more than both 440 cars put together 50 years from now. Better from the 'investment' sense (remember, this isn't a hobby anymore).

Short term: The more the merrier! I'd personally keep the 2 cars. I personally like Mopars for WHAT they are, not what their 'worth'...
