Hey guys, kind of a longshot, but you're such great help with everything else.  I've got a Baby Ferrari, known also as a Ferrari Baby Bimbo.  I've had the thing since I was a kid and I'm looking to sell it.  I have no idea what it's worth, and I don't want to put it on eBay without a reserve price that is decent.  It's pretty much a small fiberglass car for kids, but it has a genuine Ferrari starter motor in it.  I cannot find ANY information on them, tried e-mailing the toy guy from Antiques Roadshow, with no luck yet.  Have any of you seen one?  I found an ad for one on eBay, and there's a San Fran address on it, which is probably not where the company is anymore unfortunately.  Anybody in San Fran go by there much?

Thanks!
Paul

No idea, however, I suggest you leave the word "bimbo" out of the description when you do list it. Actually, on second thought I would leave it in because you might actually generate a lot of traffic that way. :2thumbs:

If the new retro pedal cars are going for $300 to $500 and more I'd think yours could be worth a grand at least. :shruggy:

Here's my thread over at Ferrari Life, it includes pictures of the car.  I don't know whether to sell it as is, or what.  I played in the thing as a little kid, drove it around etc.  Actually got in my first car accident in it, ran into the '48 Plymouth we've got in our backyard :nana:  I'm thinking of putting a $1k reserve on it and seeing what it does.

Brock,

Do you know if there is a business name on the front of the building? Next time you're around there, could you maybe take a couple seconds?  It'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Paul

Not necesarily helpful to your question, but there's a vintage and exotic repair shop down the street from where I work, and they have a "mini" Testarrossa. Nothing special...but I think as a kid I would have given my left one for one of those.
