1972 charger

Hello i am new, i am planning on buying a 1972 dodge charger from my cousin and wanted to know a few things. i plan on restoring it and i was planning on buying a rebuilt 72 440 and i think its rated at 280 horsepower, i was wondering if a blower could be instaled on the stock block without blowing the engine i plan on using this car just on the weekends so i dont plan to beat on it, im sorry i do not know much i was spoiled by import tuners :(

Depends on the amount of boost or overdrive you wish to run on your supercharger.  If you run 10% under, and dont plan on much more you can get away with a stock build.  However sometimes you may want to consider more of a cam change.  If you plan to overdrive the supercharger you better get the bottom end ready. :2thumbs:
