In the past I owned a 2bbl 4-speed charger that I was told was quite a low production car.  I currently have a 1968 383 4bbl charger with air and some options, they made quite a few of them I hear.  Anybody have these stats?  Another thing, my 2 bbl car had HP exhaust manifolds when other 2 bbl chargers had the log style.  Did they put the HPs on the 2bbl 4spd cars?

Thanks.

If I remember correctly They made 74 383 2bbl Chargers in 68.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

383 2bbl 4spd cars?  I sold that car in 89 for 1600.00, I'm ashamed to say.

There were 18,754 383 4-bbl automatics so, yeah, the 2-bbl 4-speed was much rarer. Bull has one and I think he mentioned that the exhaust manifold on one side was an HP but not the other. I don't remember the specifics though.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
