Congratulations, Mike.

I know it's been only about a year from concept to completion.  No small task.  You (and your team, I'm sure) busted your ass to pull this off and you deserve all the props you can get.  I know that Angrier probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, but to me, it's a great concept and the perfect example of what these cars should be.  DRIVEN!  HARD!

Now go prove what that thing can do! :2thumbs:

When in doubt, floor it! :naughty:

Good luck.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm updating a site with web photo's of the car, our main goal was to get the car ready for Bullrun (just made it!) which is next week so unfortunately the pics that up are the best ones I have to date. Like anything else out there this car was done to make people think - everything from the color scheme to the wheels, to the exhaust was done to be fully functional - there is absolutely no "fluff" on this car, it's all business.

Cool. I'm still trying to digest it completely. It's a lot to absorb considering I knew every nut and bolt on that car.

I gotta say though the first impression is the fuel tank looks like an accident looking for a place to happen. It detracts from the bodylines as well. Black that sucker out.

Not sure about the wheels. I'm guessing you were limited by the brakes and couldn't design them with much dish.

G-man

Angry and angrier...

U dont seem angry to me  :scratchchin:

Nice job.

TUFCAT

The nose appears to be shinier than the rest of the car.  I'm guessing there was a reason for that ---- cleaning dead bugs?  :scratchchin: :scratchchin: :scratchchin:

Thanks for the picture debut on DC.com.  If it was my creation, I would've preferred gloss black.   I DO respect the menacing look of a black car, and the "balls out" look you achieved.  I also realize this car was meant to be DRIVEN and perfect gloss black doesn't lend itself well to being driven hard.....and put away wet  ;)

We all know about the "extended range" fuel tank.  As far as modifications are concerned, the stock tank can be easily replaced when fuel capacity isn't  an issue?  ...right?

Mass_Mopar

Nice paint  ;)  What are the specs?  Good luck next week :2thumbs:

As far as fuel range goes, the tank is 44 gallons. We had a custom tank made as I did not want to cut the trunk floor for a fuel cell (we needed a spot for luggage). This tank will give us a range of aprox. 600 miles between fill-ups and yes, the stock tank can go right back in when the car is not in rally mode.

Just about every nut and bolt was changed on this car from the time we purchased it last June. The only original pieces on the car are the engine, transmission and the rear seat. The suspension was gutted and redone from back to front as where the brakes, exhaust, wheels and tires. The chassie was full reenforced and the rear end was also swapped out.

The car will also have further modifications to come down the road. We've put this car together FAST (it was shell 3 weeks ago) and we'll shake it down on BR. It's a great car that will only get better over time, little by little we'll dial it in just as we did the Charger and soon enough this will be the ULTIMATE road going Daytona. Trust me on this...

Mike
