 HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR FROM THE UK MOPAR MUSCLE ASSOCIATION   :2thumbs:
Please can you guy's   :smilie_help: I am looking to get a set of steel wheel's for my 69 CHARGER R/T SE.
WHEEL VINTIQUES do OE style steel wheel's in a 15" x 10" with a back space of 5 1/2" and a 15" x  8"
with a back space of either 4" or 4 1/2".
If i put 275/60/15" tyres rear and 235/60/15" tyres front will they fit ? :shruggy:

Yes, they should. This is probably the most common setup out there (other than 15x8 on back with the same tire). Sometimes rear ends aren't centered so measure to make sure that 5.5" BS will clear the springs at the back (springs are angled inwards) on both sides. If your car has had quarter and/or wheel lip work then check the outside carefully as well (repro quarters have a deeper lip). Get the 15x8 with 4.5" BS for the front.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Paul,  I had a set of the Wheel Vintiques you are referring too.  Watch out for the Lug Torque!!  Follow the recomendations in the manual, because too much will actually deform the lug hole area on that wheel.  It is not very well supported up against the drum.  It's a very poor design in my opinion.  I don't think the originals were like that, but I would love to get my hands on some photos of the back sides to confirm!

I assume you're talking about Magnum 500s? I know there are a hundred opinions for every repro part but I haven't heard much good about Wheel Vintiques compared to Specialty Wheel. For example, the guy I bought my two used Mag500 Specialty Wheels from said he had lots of balancing problems with Vintiques and after switching to Specialty there were no more issues. FWIW, I don't really care who buys what and some rumors are probably older than the wheels themselves but I'm just throwing it out there for consideration. Specialty is about 2 miles from my house so I don't have to pay shipping. :icon_smile_big:

Anyway, to answer your question more directly, yes the tire sizes you mentioned will fit those wheels. In fact you can easily fit 275s on 15x8s if you want and it would save you some cash. Sometimes the offset on those 10" rims looks a little goofy IMO. Here's a size chart to help: http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/specs/radial-t-a/12.html

Here's some 10s with too much offset IMO

For what it's worth I agree with Bull. I used 15 X 8 with the 60-275's rear & the rims look fine. I think the offset of the 10's might be a bit much judging from the picture. I used 15 x 7 with 60-235's up front. Looking at the car the rims appear very similar - you really can't tell the size (width) difference at a glance. Of course the rear tires are higher due to their larger diameter. If you wanted to keep the front & back heights similar (but wanted to keep the reas wider) you could use 50-275's -they have nearly the same height as the 60-235's. See the BF Goodrich website for a nice sizing chart.

Lastly - I got my wheels from Stockton Wheel in California. They make the wheels there to order and have been doing business since the late 1800's. The chrome is excellent (but watch the paint - seems very easy to scrape -  just like the paint on the Wheel Vintiques my friend got for his Mach 1.) Other than that I'm real happy with them.

As far as deforming the lug nut area - my factory rims were very distorted (nearly ready to pull through). Probably too many run ins with careless air-wrench operators before I got the car. So, be careful not to over tighten & you should be fine.
