Oil fouled exhaust valve

I'm wondering what could be oil fouling this exhaust valve?  Bad guide?  It is the valve on the passenger side rear.  However, the port has no oil burnt in it - just the stem and top of the valve.  The port looks like all the of the others, dry carbon residue.  We had a bad oil leak from the valve cover back there.  When we pulled the exhaust manifold off, there was oil behind the gasket on the head - could that be the cause?
Pic attached - sorry not focused very well.

A loose guide and bad valve seal will cause that condition....seen it before.  :yesnod:
