Well, that sucks.  :'(

I remember when his first album came out & had seen him on TV. He definitely had a unique style of playing with the guitar on his lap. I never got to go see him play live & wish I did.

I think I recall that he was in the movie "Roadhouse" & had a small part as the guitarist in the house band.

RIP Jeff.  MAn he was good.  I heard today that he died of cancer, which had also caused his blindness.

You are right. I love and own that movie on dvd. He was the house band in the bar. He also did most if not all the music for the movie. Kevin Tighe of EMERGENCY fame is the bar owner.

Didn't he also sing the theme song for the TV show PINKS?
He was a great musician.

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

I bought a Jackson guitar from him maybe 4 or 5 years ago. He was a nice guy in person.

I thought I also read that he was set to release his first rock album in 8 years on April 22nd. Should be another great album. RIP Jeff.

I saw him a few years back in Concert, he was a great musician. I didn't know he was so popular South of the Border.

This is kinda ironic, only because they starred together in Roadhouse.  I just read that Patrick Swayze has cancer and has been given 5 weeks to live.  Don't know if it is confirmed truth yet though.

When I heard he'd died, my first thought was "maybe he might have accidently stepped out in front of a car or something", but CANCER?
Never would have guessed that.

I saw him live at the Aiken Center in Fredericton a few years back. Pretty good show too!

An audience member repeatedly heckled him, and was yelling "DO ANGEL EYES" over and over again. Jeff told him in no uncertain terms to "Shut the fuck up or I'll come down there and kick your ass"!!

THAT I would have paid to see!!

RIP Mr. Healey. Say "Hi" to Stevie for me. I'll see both of you soon enough.
