Umm I own one I guess that would be a YES.  VERY HEAVILY modified chasis.  And have not been able to work on at all.

I dont have a 70, but i dont see what all the fuss is about them. I like them i have a third gen (72) but from reading between the lines it seems that 69's are most popular? then 68's (some dont like the talights i do) then 70's. I think some of the appeal with 69's has to be DOH, daytonas, 500's, and the split grill. with 68's there's the whole "first of the 2nd gen" deal and the grill does look good. with 70's some dont like the chrome loop bumper, and the rt door scoops (i do) i have no problem with 70's.

The question should be, Who doesn't like 70 Chargers???  :naughty:

All 70 Charger pics, all the time. Right Here!!

I love 68's obviousely, but I woudl love to see a frankencharger with 68 grill, 70 door scoops, and 69 tailights.

I will say one thing for the 70 door scoops, they look awesome on daytona clones.  they just fit right in with the whole aero theme for me.

One of our members here has one like youre describing.  Its purple.  I don't think it has door scoops though.

I agree with you about the door scoops on on Daytona clones.  I think they match the fender scoops quite well.

My personal favorite year Charger is the 69, I love the grille and taillights, but I LOVE Chargers and the 70 is among them!! I like em ALL from 66-74 and the late 70s Daytona is kinda neat, and YEAH I'd LOVE to have a new SRT8!!

You can keep the little 80s cars though, not my thing!

2nd gen's  :scratchchin: ... 68, 70, 69... in that order

70charginglizard

How could anyone not like ANY 2nd gen charger. They are all just plain bad A_s :2thumbs:

TruckDriver

I like all makes and brands of muscle cars, but the second gen Charger is hands down my fav :yesnod:

The first Charger I ever rode in was a plum '70 R/T 4spd with a white top and interiour.

I like all of the 2nd gens for their differences while keeping the same great body style. I have to admit the 70 model has some  :coolgleamA: when it comes to options over the other two years. I hope to one day own a 1970 to compliment the other two.

So, '70 + 45 = 17!?

They're not as cool as 72 Rallyes, but they'll do... :yesnod:

I like 70's. I have NEVER understood the whole "I don't like the grille" thing. I guess, because I like 71-72 cars, I don't have a problem with actually seeing the bumper... :eyes: I like the nice clean look of the grille. I have owned 3 68's, 3 69's and many 3rd gens, I have never owned a 70, but I would have no problem. If I have anything against the 70, it would be the RT side scoops. Sorry, don't like them. They look cool in and of themselves, but WHY they would cover the door vents...it's beyond me...

I wouldn't turn one down.

Notice how Dodge returned to the basic grille and brightwork loop design of the 1st Gen.   :2thumbs:

I agree with the others who said all old chargers are cool. 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen.  The only ones I don't like are the new ones.  Should have been called something else.  With that said, here is my '70 project i got last year..

Time to stir the  :stirthepot:

What pot are you looking to stir?  :shruggy:  ::)

The answer is a no brainer, just like asking about '68 and '69 Chargers.  :slap:
