time to get over it.  underage driving with the old man drunk riding shotgun is as american as apple pie DAMHIK.  um...well...maybe not apple pie, but this video looks like it's in the privacy of his own yard.

It could be worse, the kid could be out on the street where he could injure or kill someone.

Hahaha, you guys need to keep looking. Same kid (I think) a year older in a Cobra:

And that green Superbird:

For all you guys that didn't get to drive when you were 11... what's wrong with your parents? I was shifting from the passenger seat as soon as I could reach the shifter. Here in the midwest kids drive $400,000 farm equipment years before driving a car is legal. ;)

I think the goal of this video was to see how close they can actually get to the shop without hitting it.

69bronzeT5

I was driving dump trucks around when I was 8ish....but it was in a landfill and away from stuff...like garages. That kid is gonna hit the gas, screw up and nail a tree or something..

He almost nailed the shop here...

Those were my Dads thoughts exactly when my brothers and I were teenagers and wanted to drive his Roadrunner.   :-\

 I shouldn't have watched those videos and there's no smiley for sticking a fork in my eye.  Honestly, I just don't get the way some people raise their kids.  What are we teaching children these days?   :rotz:  Are these the values we want to instill in their impressionable minds?  That father is totally sending the wrong message - I mean you do that shit to other's people's lawns, not your own!

I did my fair share of farming yards as we called it with some big old wide M50 tires on the rear of my 69 road runner !!!!!!
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

hotrod98

We were always doing something like that when we were kids and I don't recall anyone ever hitting anything or kiilling anyone. It's just the way we roll here in the south. A lot of the guys driving stock cars around here start at 12 years of age. Mark martin raced here and he was around 14 when he started. My son cart race in IKF at 10 and jumped into our super comp dragster when he turned 16. His first pass was faster than I had ever been in the car. Of course he weighed 100 lbs less than me and in a 1200 lb car that tends to make a difference.
At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Still, I tend to agree (in my old age) that it wasn't a bright idea to have the kid doing that.
