transmission deep oil pan question?

i got a summit deep transmission pan,in the box was a triangle aluminium spacer(shaped like a wedge of cheese)this obviouslly fits between the filter and transmission,however there was only one triangle gasket.should there have been 2?
or if there is only one where does it go?
between the spacer and gearbox?
or spacer and filter?
sorry for being a dumb bastard,but you do use the original dipstick as well,right?

gasket goes between the valve body ( gearbox ) & spacer  ...use the original dipstick as the deep pan gives you the extra capasity oil ...

thats how i had it and i thought you used the original dipstick BTW, i was just making sure
