Are the 2001 and 2004 dodge Ram Quad bed size the same

Can anyone give me an answer on this.....

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with a short bed,,I am looking to trade it in for a 2004 Hemi Ram Quad cab,,,my question is are the bed sizes the same ? I have a Tuxcedo cover I just bought and paid a good bit for it,I would like to keep it if the beds are the same size

Nope, there is about 4 inches difference in width, not sure about length, but that doesn't matter now anyways.
