There is a part number 3698 584 which is for a 1974 B or C body with a 400 four barrel.  There is also a casting number of 3698 434 for a 1974 360 four barrel in an A B or E body.

is the intake wet or dry? meaning does it have a thermostate housing mounted on the intake?

that will determine if it is big block or small block.

First question: Are you sure it's a Mopar intake manifold? If not, the casting number charts most folks will reference trying to help you will not work.

If you are sure it's a Mopar intake then I agree with Chryco: double-check the casting number and make sure you don't have 3s and 8s confused.

I've found 6s and 5s can sometimes look similar too, depending on how worn/old the part is. You might try making a rubbing of it - put a piece of paper over the casting number and rub on it with a pencil or crayon. Then read the casting number off the paper.

Here are the intake manifold numbers that I'm aware of for 1973:

CASTING #              YEAR                 ENGINE
3671879                  1973                  400 1-4
3698444                  1973                  440 1-4

Sixty-eights look great and the '69 is fine.
