As you may (or may not) know, I have a new hobby collecting old car photos, it really alot of fun,.. I have about 3-400 hundred now, and will share them when i get a scanner which shouldn't be too long now,..
But in any case I thought it would be fun to start a thread on older cars...
Now i know we all love the muscle cars and most folks here stick with the mid-sixties MOPARs specificly, but still I think it would be cool to have a thread for other makes and vintages,.. so I'll post a few i have found interesting, and if you care to contribute to the thread I'd love to see more... pics or videos...
first up are some old san francisco racing shots I found on the garage on this thread..

those were the days when a mechanic had to ride in the race cars to act as a roll bar in case of an accident...  :icon_smile_wink:

Troy

Those old race cars are literally and engine, 4 wheels, and pan to sit in. Safety wasn't really an issue. Pretty cool stuff.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
