What can I re-use on a 9 1/4 to 8 3/4 swap?

Can I use the same rear drum brakes, backing plates, etc. from my 9 1/4 when I swap to the 8 3/4 sure grip?  The backing plates on the new 8 3/4 are bent and they do not include anything else.

are you changing the axle just for the suregrip ?... damn I have around a NOS cone suregrip for 9 1/4

My dyslexia at work....I meant that I am switch from an 8 1/4 to an 8 3/4.

Will the same drum breaks, etc. all swap to the new rear end?

Damn! I though I could find a buyer to this NOS SG 9 1/4 LOL... anyway was really weird that somebody with earlier car had that axle, being a late option

MY 74 catalog only shows diff plate between brakes diameter, and not between axles
