Here's your chance to snag a replica Squad 51 fire truck. :icon_smile_big:

--->eGouge link<---

The price is sorta Barret Jackson-ish, but it looks like someone did a good job on it.

Includes some real toys too! :icon_smile_cool:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

What show was that?   :shruggy:  before my time maybe.. :icon_smile_big:

You just need to actually watch TV once in a while instead of trying to single handedly rebuild St Paul and Chargers all the time.  :nana:  :D

Oh yeah and making Paul Jrs too.  :icon_smile_wink:

You're just a young whippersnapper, sonny. :icon_smile_tongue:

Hey LeeBoy, where is the truck in your pic from? It looks good. :yesnod:

One thing I noticed on the eGouge truck...look how close the rear tires are to the rear fenderwells. It looks like it's sitting on the axle.
Maybe for the asking price, the guy could include some new springs? :icon_smile_big:

Be honest. You were only disappointed because you didn't get to move it to off topic, right? :D

I grew up watching the show. It's still one of my all time favorite tv shows. Watching it now, it's funny though now how little emergency equipment they had in the ambulances and emergency rooms    Someday, I'll get the series on DVD. That is the second time I've seen that truck on Ebay now. I guess the actual fire truck they used for the tv series, is still in use in the California mountains yet.

Another thing that to this day kinda makes me laugh, is that fact, that sometimes to fight fires, they wore complete fire gear, sometimes just the coats, other times no fire gear to fight fires or rescue people. :P

I always liked Chet the best as he was the practical joker of the guys.

I haven't actually seen an episode since I was a kid...a lot of that is because I'm sorta scared to see how cheezy it may actually be. You know, ruin all the good memories I had of the show as a kid? :-\
I was all excited to see a couple episodes of the Incredible Hulk a few years ago, but then my good memories were dashed...that was a cheezy show!  Although Lou still looked pretty huge.

I used to watch the show, not regularly, but I liked it. I don't remember the Dodge truck, but it reminds me of a 1950's Dodge Power Wagon the local firehouse sold. They had it in the paper taking bids on it & when I went to go look at it, I couldn't believe it. Had 6000 original miles, never any rust, still had the small water tank & hoses, the utility boxes, the PTO, & the red & white paint job with gold lettering. I had just bought a rough '68 Barracuda ragtop at the time & couldn't come up with a decent amount to bid, but threw $1500 at it just in case there weren't any other bids.

I never heard from them, but I did see an ad in Hemmings that same month for a vehicle with the exact same description for $6500. With the lead time that Hemmings had, I know damn well that truck was sold from within the firehouse & the public bidding was just a legal formality.  ::)

Heres my collection of stuff from when I was a kid! I love that show! I wish I could find DVD's of it in the stores. I used to watch it all the time a few years ago when it was on nick at night or what ever channel it was.

It was the first time I remember seeing it there.

I need to go through my old MatchBox and Hot Wheels colllection because I think I still have that one too. It saw a lot of action responding to the multiple car pile ups of my youth.  ;)

I used to watch this show too as a kid. I loved it. I have seen a few episodes lately and realize how times have changed. I would not call the show cheasy...that is just where we were back then. There was no blood - no obvious sign of injuries and EVERYONE got a IV with D5W (whatever that was). Now shows like ER have lots of blood, bones sticking out etc..... It is just the evolution of things.

On a side note does anyone remember CODE R? It was similar to EMERGENCY.
