so...i got my rebuild kit

so... I got my transmission rebuild kit and it only came with one band. Then when I started to tear my trans appart in class I found that I only had one band in the trans...the front band and the deals that hold it in place (can't remember what they are called) are gone... My question is where can I get the parts that I need yet? My teacher said that those commonly break so I should be able to get a heavier one but he couldn't tell me where.
