Well, unless you've got a vin number or something along those lines, I don't see how you would track it down other than by dumb luck.  At this point it could be black with a 360 and probably isn't in the same town that the same town that he sold it in 20 years ago.  Good luck!  tipopiola

hmmmm, i just parted a 73 dark green metallic charger last fall, it had a non numbers matching 318/904 in it amd had been painted plum crazy, got the fender tag, if you ever come up with the vin number let me know and ill check.  You can look at old tax returns, even the BMV might be able to help you out for a price.

it might not be green anymore, Not a popular color in the late 80's I would guess.  You can put an ad in the papers where you might guess it was sold.  Offer a 100 bucks to the info that helps find it.  Other than that, I dont know what you could do.

I had heard of hiring a private investigator but that would be costly, other than that I don't have any info.

You need a VIN number as drivetrains and body colors can be changed and it was 20 years ago.

You can try  www.lost-car-registry.com. I've had mine on there for years with no luck, not even a sighting. But maybe it can jog someones memory.
