I am thinking about getting some stuff from summit racing and was just wondering if anyone out there have any source codes that could get me a discount. Thanks!

Hi,

I believe they don't give any discount code anymore. I would have needed one now.  :eyes:

They have still good prices and a RATIONAL ( in fact even cheap ) shipping charges ALL YEAR LONG, so don't need a weird and suspicious "discount code"  :brickwall:  :smilielol:

I was about to order some Taylor wires from Summit and put the part number into froogle. They were on Amazon for less with free shipping. It pays to shop around. I found a lot of things at Summit that were a lot cheaper then Rock Auto when I was working on my Wrangler. My most recent purchases were split between Rock Auto, Summit, and Amazon.

Have you had any luck with Amazon when it comes to shipping time? I swear, I ordered two items and it literally took 5 days to box them up and another 4 for delivery. My roommate orders a lot from them and they're pretty leisurely about getting the items to you. I get stuff in 1 day from Summit and, since I'm usually in a hurry that certainly helps. I've had decent luck with Rock Auto too. Just shop around.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Amazon seems to intentionally stall the shipping when you opt for the free shipping. Sometimes, however, they seem to send stuff right out. The shocks I ordered for my Charger showed up in less than a week. On some things, I've seen them take longer than that just to send it out.

I just double checked my Amazon account; I ordered the shocks on 2/17 and they were delivered on 2/19. They came out of PA and were delivered to MD.

Just out of curiosity, I checked my last Summit order. I placed it on 1/26 and it wasn't shipped until 2/13. They held the entire order until the backordered item was in stock.

you can request that they don't do that. I had a back order on a distributer once but told them to ship the rest. They did.
