Is it me or does that vin# on door sticker look fake? never seen one with spaces in it like that?

It looks fine.  My Bird is exactly like that and has an original sticker.

I remember Pete was big into tracking this stuff down. Those were the good ol' days.... 

I'm not sure of the name of the person that had this 'bird on their land. Story goes, the owner of these cars was storing them on her property. Years passed, she hadn't heard from him, had no way of getting in touch with him, etc. She wanted them GONE.
The house was right on Englishtown Rd.!!!  Yes, the one leading to Raceway Park! How this car went unnoticed all these years is astounding! Anyone that is from this area knows the traffic on that road.
From what I hear, the weeds were so high you couldn't even see the roofs of the cars. There was a small tree growing through the engine compartment of this car.

Larry, we were just afraid of a bad VIN search coming up, stolen, already titled to another person, etc. THEN we would have been in a mess. This car was moved to a service shop in Staten Island, NOT a car dealer as mentioned in the auction. The owner would not let us on the property, we couldn't go at night, etc. He was supposedly going to get titles for ALL the cars, before selling them. We weren't about to take chances.

I'm just sitting back to watch what happens to this one. Very interesting story, indeed.

I had gotten a 318 challenger ragtop in 2007 that was removed and loaded like a dumpster.It was either broadway title or international title services .They got me paperwork for $150.00.$100.00 more than I paid for the car

A:   I do not know. I bought it with a bill of sale from a car dealer in New York. I spoke to Broadway Title Company and I was told the titile was $179.00 to $225.00, which isn't a problem. It takes 4-6 weeks to process the title. I need the space now in my garage.
Q:  do you have fender tag ? also is there any other parts other than what is presented in the pictures. does the car come with the dadh vin and does the body vin match the title and dash pad vin Feb-21-08
A:   NO FENDER TAG PRESENT.ONLY PARTS SHOWN IN PICTURES ARE PRESENT. DASH VIN TAG IS PRESENT AND IN PLACE. I COULDN'T GET A DECENT PICTURE TO POST. IT DOES MATCH DOOR TAG.NO TITLE, ONLY BILL OF SALE.

A:   i DO NOT HAVE THE REAR GLASS FOR THE PLUG. I DO HAVE A 70 CORONET REAR GLASS, BUT I DON'T THINK IT WILL FIT. I WILL CONFIRM. FRT. FRAME RAILS ARE NOT BENT TO MY KNOWLEDGE, HOWEVER THE DRIVERS SIDE FRONT DOES NEED A REPAIR. NO WING PRESENT WITH THE CAR.

I've noticed this happen with most good project cars on ebay . some one goes to look at the car with cash in his pocket . then he makes the guy a good offer for the car . the seller doesn't have to pay any final evaluation fee to ebay if he closes the auction early and he's got the cash in his pocket. thats how i got my roadrunner and my 70 charger r/t .
